  I bought the new convertable a couple of weeks ago and I am in love!! The style is wonderful and since my last auto was a Xterra SUV my gas bill is wonderful now!!!!!! It is fun to drive, everyone stops to ask questions about it and being at the beach I am having a blast with the top down... 37 and a convertable (mid-life crisis??)

  Trunk Noise - 2004 Toyota Camry Solara

  This car has been reliable so far and I wouldnt hesitate to go cross country anytime. Gas mileage stays on 30 mostly city driving. The passenger window came loose from the guide bracket and I had a trunk noise looked at at each 5K mile service. Finally after talking to the service manager personally the problem was found. The noise sounded like someone beating on an empty 50 gallon drum in the trunk when running over rough surfaces or stones. I think Toyota has a fix for this of replacing the rear shocks. The problem ended up being two rods forming an X inside the trunk and just under the rear window a piece of foam between the two rods fixed the problem. Rear seat long trips are a nightmare

  Great car. This is our first Toyota and wont be the last. I have always bought GM. But after having this car I will be getting more. The maintenance record on the Toyotas seem to be much better than on the GM line. The interior styles are also very nice looking on your cars. We are very satisfied with the new Solara.

  after 5 accords and 3 cadillac eldorados and sevilles its fun to drive again.... this is the best $30,0000 convertible on the road... the only problem is the poor design of the cover for the top when it is open.... the cover has blown off 3 times so far while driving so i had to take a piece of wire to wire it on so it doesnt come off when driving.... but its a greatttttttt car and the most fun car to drive (besides my cadillace allante convertible) i have ever driven.... all i can say is i bet the guys that bought a $80,000 lexus 4 seat convertible and then see this same design car for $30,000 are pissed... lol.. i would be !!!

  I just bought my Toyota Solara on Saturday and I have to say this is the best decision I have ever made. Been getting plenty of compliments about my little red sports car ;) Awesome car, Im glad the dealership still had this one

  A great head turner - 2004 Toyota Camry Solara

  So far there are not too many of these on the road, I see more Lexus SC. I love the styling, ride, and the quite, even with the top down. I had a old Mercedes SL and I am so happy to be rid of it. My ratings #s arent as high as most because nothing is perfect, but this is close. First, it is not a high performance car, it just looks like one. I love the shiftable transmission. Mileage is good, handling is good, but not great. I live in the mountains, so I notice that. Same with the accelleration. JBL soundsytem is very good, even with the top down. Cons, have been covered. Poor rear visability, useless rear boot, and rear access.

  Lexus-like vehicle with all extras; Absolutely Red with Ivory leather interior is a great combination; navigation system is easy to use; beautiful leather, chrome and wood, A real head turner. Performs as well as a Lexus ES330.

  I had the 02. Its a joke in comparison to the 04. Totally different cars. This time I got the whole package,(nav sys,leather, etc.). Glad I did. The outside looks good and the inside is FANTABULAS! When considering the price, comfort, power, etc, Toyota hit a home run this time. The factory tires are very pricy,( 17" low profile) and hard to find. I found out the hard way. Its a long story! Bottom line, Great car!

  My 2004 Arctic Frost Pearl Solara with Ivory Leather interior is great. The exterior/interior is totally different from the previous model, the new model is luxury and old model is sporty. GOOD DEAL on the the new body style!!!!! The drive is great: smooth & quiet. This car is definitely for a LADY!
